A little about me... for as long as I can remember, music has been the driving inspirational force in all I do. The Devil Went Down to Georgia is the first song I remember attaching myself to. And this was at like age 4. It was on one of my parents' old 8 tracks. I would wait thru Charlie's whole album time and time again, just to hear that one song. I got some sort of buzz from that song. And now I find myself doing that same thing with some of the incredible music coming out of Louisville these days. I am a musician myself.

So Mr. Shuck and I managed to escape college with a degree and full functionality (?!) of our brains and decided to do what we love. You can see some examples of what we love in this here website. And know that I'll be sitting on the other end of a G5 somewhere, creating...and absorbing the sweet vibes of Cabin, or MMJ, or...

Fast forward to 2007, and i am proud to announce that I was named the 2007 Kentucky Derby Festival poster artist. More info here.

So go ahead, snoop around...

What does one say to explain themselves in words when they display everything in design and photos? Well, let me draw you a picture. My feet have been planted in this fair city of Louisville, Kentucky for all of my 29 years, since I was hatched. I wear shoes and have all of my teeth. I should probably go ahead and let you know that this bio will bounce around like a pin ball machine so hang on, and as a bonus I will ask question in here too! I graduated from the University of Louisville with Mr. Sears way back in '01, this is when we started the foundation for this adventure we call -
t r a n s f i x, write that down.

What makes me tick? Diversity. If you never experience things you will never know or understand. From flickering lights on the lake to tearing around a race track, that is where my ideas come from, or just standing in the shower drinking a beer. My major influence is music. There is nothing more flowing than taking photos of a good band ripping apart a stage or sailing away in a song and carving a great design. Yes, I use the word ‘or’ several times in here. That is because what we do is opposite from math, there is no set answer for any application. Now enough about me, go ahead give our site a look-see and let us know what you think.
